House of 1000 Corpses is 14 years old

Fourteen years ago Rob Zombie unleashed his debut film on the world – House of 1000 Corpses – and introduced horror fans to the diabolical Firefly family. The film was a carefully created homage to B-Movie horrors and the Marx Brothers. Fans took to their hearts Sheri Moon Zombie’s Baby Firefly, Captain Spaulding, played by Sid Haig and Otis Driftwood as portrayed by Bill Moseley. The film went on to spawn an equally loved sequel – The Devil’s Rejects.

Back on the 10th anniversary we shared this fantastic look back on the movie from Brutal As Hell: robzombie.com/2013/04/happy-birthday-10-years-of-house-of-1000-corpses/ – it’s still a good read today.
