6 years ago today (April 29, 2016), Rob Zombie released his sixth solo album The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser.
At 30 minutes long, it was his shortest to date, but boy did it still pack a punch with a series of foot-stomping, crazy, wild and just pure fun hits. Rob has described the album as the most fucked up thing we’ve ever done.” Electric Warlock debuted at number six on the Billboard 200; selling 40,000 copies in its first week. It also became Zombie’s sixth consecutive top-ten album.
Six music videos were created , including Well, Everybody’s Fucking in A UFO which features Zombie’s wife Sheri Moon Zombie and actor Jeff Daniel Phillips, who is a regular in Zombie’s movies, including 31, The Lords of Salem and the upcoming The Munsters. Other guest appearances in the music videos include Doyle in The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore, and Daniel Roebuck (who will play Grandpa in The Munsters) as Satan in The Life and Times of a Teenage Rock God.
