On 28 March 2006, Rob Zombie released his 3rd solo album Educated Horses. It came after Rob had spent time cultivating his film directing career and had expressed a possibility that he may not be returning to music. But it was meeting and working with John 5 – his guitarist ever since – that Rob decided to embark on making this album.

Educated Horses hit the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart at number one. It also debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Reflecting on the anniversary, Rob says; “16 years ago today Educated Horses was released. First record with @john5official on guitar. By far the longest I have ever been in a band with someone. 👍🏼 Crazy how fast the time goes.”

John 5 also shared his memories of the making of the album, saying; “Educated Horses is 16 years old today I remember it vividly I was so excited I went to the studio and the first song we worked on was let it all bleed out. I remember being so excited that I couldn’t even sleep the night before. I love this record so much still listen to it all the time.”
