WOW! Time sure does fly! Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects is 16 years old today! Released on July 22, 2005, the movie was the sequel to Zombie’s directorial debut House Of 1000 Corpses.

Rejects this time saw Zombie’s anti-heroes Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Otis (Bill Moseley) and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), on the run from Sheriff Wydell (William Forsyth), a man obsessed with bringing the blood shedding family to justice (in one way or the other) for the death of his brother. The trilogy was completed in 2019 with 3 From Hell.

Speaking about the 16th anniversary of the film’s release, Rob Zombie remarked:

16 years ago today my second feature film THE DEVIL’S REJECTS was released. ☠️ Making that film was s blast. I am so thrilled it is still finding new fans every day. When did you first see it? 💀Watch the film tonight and remember some of our friends who have left us… Matt McGrory, Geoffrey Lewis, Tom Towles and Sid Haig. #robzombie#thedevilsrejects #happysweetsixteen
