Rob Zombie’s directorial debut, House Of 1000 Corpses, has reached a milestone birthday – 18 years since its release (April 11, 2003). The movie spawned the beloved anti-hero Firefly Family and was the start of a trilogy, which includes The Devil’s Rejects and 3 From Hell.

Sharing his thoughts on this monumental milestone, Rob Zombie says:

18 years ago today HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES was released. The film was actually made in 2000 but didn’t hit theaters until 2003. Why? It’s a long story. Anyway we made it and it now has a very rabid fanbase that we are all very thankful for. 👍🏼
