Four years ago today – April 29, 2016 – Rob Zombie released his sixth solo album: The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser. At just over 30 minutes long, this was the shortest Rob Zombie solo album to date, but boy did it still pack a punch with a series of foot-stomping, crazy, wild and just pure fun hits.
Six music videos were created , including Well, Everybody’s Fucking in A UFO, Get Your Boots On, The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore and The Life and Times of a Teenage Rock God.
The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, debuted at number six on the Billboard 200; selling 40,000 copies in its first week. It also became Zombie’s sixth consecutive top-ten album.
Describing the album prior to it’s release Zombie said:
This album is the best thing we’ve done to date, and we can’t wait to share it with you. No, we mean it. It’s the most fucked up thing we’ve ever done. We spent so much time putting this monster together and it’s been worth it because this thing is about to explode!
