On July 22, 2005, Rob Zombie unleashed the Firefly Family again on cinema audiences, with The Devils Rejects. The sequel to his debut movie House of 1000 Corpses saw Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Otis (Bill Moseley) and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), on the run from Sheriff Wydell (William Forsyth), a man obsessed with bringing the blood shedding family to justice (in one way or the other) for the death of his brother.

So today, July 22, 2018, is officially The Devils Rejects day, to mark the 13th anniversary of the release of the film. Yes The Devils Rejects is now a teenager.

Rob Zombie has been filming the sequel to The Devils Rejects over the past few months. The film, titled ‘Three From Hell‘ will follow the Firefly family and let audiences know what happened after the infamous Freebird shooting scene that ended Devils Rejects and seemingly ended the Firefly Clan. The movie is set for release in 2019.
