31 A Rob Zombie Film

Rob Zombie’s next film 31 will get it’s premiere screening at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, but the journey to getting the film ready for cinematic release took a couple of bumpy steps as Zombie found himself, not once, but twice being stuck with an NC-17 rating from the MPAA for his film. This rating meant the film would not be able to be screened at theaters and Zombie very much wants you guys to see this on the big screen in all its gory – sorry, glory.

Speaking to fans a couple of weeks ago, Rob said; “Why R you ask? Well, because your local theater will not show an NC-17. Even though you are a fucking adult… things must be censored for your enjoyment.”

It seems third time is the charm – and a great belated Xmas present – as the MPAA have now given the film its R-Rating. This means you’ll be able to sit back, relax and Rob hopes, still have the chance to spew your popcorn all over the guy in the seat in front of you. Responding to questions from fans about the DVD/Blu-Ray release, Rob has said it will be the full version with none of the cuts to make it to the big screen.

And to celebrate this great news, you can now see the FINAl, OFFICIAL poster for the movie.  To see it in full, click >>>
