Labor Day Weekend “Battles of the Box Office” – Rob Zombie’s Halloween vs One Direction (?!?!)
Yes folks its that time of the year again. For five straight years, Rob Zombie’s Halloween has dominated the all important Labor Day Weekend, box office opening charts. Many have tried to take the films place as the highest grossing movie of this long holiday weekend – and they have all FAILED. Now, teeny dreamy boy – band – One Direction – are trying to take that mantle with their on the road tour film. Forbes.com says that the new One Direction movie earned “$8.9 million on its first 1.25 days” but they predict even with this strong out of the box showing that the “film should end the four-day weekend with over/under $25m, good for the second-biggest Labor Day opening weekend of all time, behind the $30m debut of Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake and ahead of last year’s $21m debut of The Possession.”
Anyway, best of luck One Direction – and thank you to once again to everyone who went out and watched this movie . Don’t forget to check out the movie and more info on here it here: Rob Zombie’s Halloween movie page Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone!
