Rob Zombie’s second solo studio album, The Sinister Urge is now 15 years old. The album title came from the name of an Ed Wood’s movie released in 1960. The album itself came out on November 13, 2001, and featured fan favorites which are still played today at live shows, such as House of 1000 Corpses and Scum of the Earth.
Official music video releases for the album included Feel So Numb and Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy).There was one single from the album; Demon Speeding. In 2003, the album went Platinum through album sales.

On December 12, Universal Music Enterprises will release four essential Rob Zombie albums on limited edition picturedisc vinyl: Hellbilly Deluxe, The Sinister Urge, Educated Horses, and Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor. All four albums make their picturedisc debuts with these releases.

We’ve had a toal of 2565 votes and the results are in – your favorite Rob Zombie album is The Sinister Urge.
The Sinister Urge was released in 2001 and was the second solo outing for Rob Zombie (third if you count American Music to Strip By in release order). It brought us such favs amongst the fans as Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy), Dead Girl Superstar and of course House of 1000 Corpses.
