From Yahoo Music:
Rob Zombie is synonymous with Halloween. Along with recording freaky hits like “Living Dead Girl,” “Dragula,” and “Superbeast,” he’s created frightening mazes for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights over the past decade, and in 2013 he launched his own fright fest, “Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare,” at the L.A. County Fearplex in Pomona, Calif.
Rob is also a renowned director of cult horror flicks, so to celebrate both Halloween and his filmography, Yahoo Music asked him to discuss his favorite scenes from his own movies. Pass the popcorn and read on, in Rob’s own words.

On July 22, 2005, Rob Zombie unleashed the Firefly Family again on the cinema audience, with The Devils Rejects. The sequel to his debut movie House of 1000 Corpses saw Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Otis (Bill Moseley) and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), on the run from Sheriff Wydell (William Forsyth), a man obsessed with bringing the blood shedding family to justice (in one way or the other) for the death of his brother.
So today, July 22, 2015, is officially The Devils Rejects day, to mark the 10th anniversary of the release of the film (already??!!).

A great, and very detailed interview and feature article from Grantland.com, which focuses on director Rob Zombie, and beyond the horror that he is most known for. The article comes in light of the news that Zombie is to direct a movie about his comic idol Groucho Marx, based on the book by Steve Stoliar entitled “Raised Eyebrows”.
This is a really interesting and thoroughly in-depth look at Zombie’s career.

Rob reflects; “I can’t believe this, but our pal Geoffrey Lewis has passed away. Geoffrey was a great guy and I was thrilled be able to work with him“.
Our thoughts go out to Geoffrey’s family, especially his wife Paula, and his children, including daughter – the actress – Juliette Lewis.
