Rob Zombie “firing on all cylinders” for the Great American Nightmare
Its that time of the year and Rob Zombie has once again opened his Great American Nightmare haunting house and music festival, returning to Villa Park in Chicago.
The experience was voted a “must see haunt” in 2014 by Haunted Attractions
Bloody Disgusting was there for Rob’s first night performance and give a review not only on the performance, but all three of this years haunted houses too.
On the haunted houses they say “It was a lot of fun last year and even better this year“; and of the show itself “Rob was firing on all cylinders last night. He was in the moment, in full command of the audience, and just on with every little thing“.

RZ’s Great American Nightmare returns to Chicago
Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare–the ultimate Halloween horror event–returns to Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, IL (just outside Chicago) for its second engagement from September 25-November 1.
Tickets go on sale for all Great American Nightmare dates on Friday, July 31.

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare has announced a second engagement for 2014. The ultimate Halloween horror event will invade the Chicago metropolitan area select nights from September 26-November 1 at Odeum Expo in Villa Park, IL. (Find out more on the tour page)

Rob Zombie is out on tour in Europe right now and has also announced in the past week a series of new dates in the USA, including opening for his frightfest, Great American Nightmare 2014. Rob Zombie to headline opening night at Great American Nightmare 2014
After a successful inaugural opening year in 2013, for Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare attraction, he is doing it all over again, this time in Phoenix, AZ from September 19 to November 1st. Bringing the nightmare to more audiences across the USA, the main attraction being in Arizona, while on select nights, the WestWorld of Scottsdale will play host.
“The first year was such a blast. I am thrilled to be able to take the Great American Nightmare to a new city this year,” said Zombie. “My only goal is to make it even sicker than last year.”
The three haunted house experiences for this year will include, ‘The Lords of Salem in Total Black Out,’ ‘Captain Spaulding’s Clown School in 3D’ and ‘The Devil’s Rejects’ .
Tickets are on sale from Friday 13th June at 10AM PT at the Great American Nightmare website.

Rob Zombie and Orange Amps raise $5000 for Puppy Rescue Mission

“Last October (2013) Orange donated a customized Rockerverb 100 MKII and (2) PPC412 Speaker Cabs to Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare. Throughout the month, people attending the event would enter a raffle ($5 fee per entry) in hopes of winning the full stack. In total, more than $5000 was raised to benefit Puppy Rescue Mission, a charity that’s very close to Rob Zombie’s heart.”

ROB ZOMBIE DRAWS MONSTER CROWDS TO ‘GREAT AMERICAN NIGHTMARE’
Over the past month, Ponoma CA has been home to Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare – the inaugural fear and music festival from Rob Zombie, included three haunted houses, based on three of Zombie’s movies and performances from many guest bands, including Andrew WK, Beware of Darkness, Powerman 5000 and Rob Zombie on the last two nights. The final night drew record crowds of over 8,500 people turning up on the Zombie-headlined final night (Nov. 2) .

Blogs of War reviews Great American Nightmare: “this has been one hell of a good time”
So, its been open a few days and the people are queuing up to be scared and entertained. Even the lovely Sheri Moon Zombie posted on her Facebook about how The Lords of Salem haunted house was so bad she “almost went out the sissy door“. And if Baby says its bad, it may be best to wear a pair of diapers when you guys go through.
