[WATCH] Rob Zombie speaks to Fanpass about touring; “Doing a tour with Alice was one of the best tours”
An interview conducted with Zombie by Fanpass, while the band rocked the Welcome To Rockville festival, sees Rob speaking about one of his favourite tour partners. Speaking to Matt Pinfield he says; “Cause usually, you’re on tour with people and they might be your friends, but maybe… they’re just your buddies, but musically, you’re not compatible. Rob Zombie, probably the busiest man in the world, is not just working on a Manson Family piece with Bret Easton Ellis; he is not just about to embark on a European tour; he has not just announced a new and excitingly brutal new film project called ’31’, he is “pretty far into the process”, working on the follow-up to 2013’s Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor. (And of course, lets not forget the new live DVD/Blu-Ray and coffee table photo book – phew!)
Speaking to Billboard.com, Rob says “It sounds fuckin’ weird, man. That’s a really good thing. Right now I’m by myself in the studio; the rest of the band’s not here yet but, yeah, they’ll all come up here later. It’s going good. I’ll work on that for about a month and get as far as I can get. Then in July we have a little bit of a break where I’ll probably finish up the record, and then we have some more touring.”

Introducing the ‘Catman’ on stage, Zombie said “Ladies and gentlemen, if you are anything like me, you were very disappointed a little while ago, because I tuned into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and I did not get to see my favorite drummer get behind the motherfucking drums. As many of you have no doubt noticed, the site has had a bit of a make-over. Over the weekend, the site has been updated with a brand new skin, which includes an incredible image by photographer Rob Fenn (who shot the Zombie Horror Picture Show photo book) and includes original artwork by Rob Zombie’s web manager Emma (1976designs)
As well as a new skin, we have taken the time to tidy up the individual movie and music pages, as well as streamline a few underused sections.
There are still a few bits to drop into the site over the next few days, but we are hoping this is a look everyone will like and enjoy.
