“In the Age of the Consegrated Vampire, We All Get High” named in Loudwire’s 20 Best Rock songs of 2016
“In the Age of the Consegrated Vampire, We All Get High“, from Rob Zombie’s 2016 album The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, has been named as the 7th best rock song of 2016 by Loudwire.
“Rob Zombie has a knack for that over-the-top, full throttle gore-infused rock and he scores again this year with “In the Age of the Consegrated Vampire, We All Get High.” Driving guitars, random inserted dialogue and pure Zombie aggression drive the song. The singer has made a career off of this style of music, and as he says in the song, “I’m wicked / So hideous / I’m morbid / Don’t fuck with this.” It definitely works well, so who are we to question.“
Loudwire have put together their definitive list of the “20 Best Rock Albums of 2016” and Rob Zombie’s latest offering, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser has come 2nd.
“Rob Zombie has found the zone with his current band and they are embracing it for all that it’s worth with ‘The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser.’ Zombie goes deep with stellar cuts on this one, first finding his groove with the outrageous yet rocking “Well, Everybody’s F–king in a U.F.O.” This album is fun to listen to and to sing along to, with cuts like “In the Age of the Consecrated Vampire, We All Get High” and “Get Your Boots On! That’s the End of Rock and Roll” being perfect additions to his live show as well as his overall catalog. “The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore,” “The Life and Times of a Teenage Rock God” and “Medication for the Melancholy” are also solid listens in what could be argued as Zombie’s most complete solo effort to date.”

Rob also reveals that although he had to fight with the censors for a rating for his latest movie ’31’ (due out in September), it was The Devil’s Rejects with which securing an R rating was the most difficult. “You’re editing content for adults. One adult is telling another adult, ‘I think that’s a little too much for you. We’re gonna have to tone it down.’
A great piece of video from our friends at Loudwire where Rob Zombie plays ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ As Loudwire explains: “We’ve got an amazing guest for this week’s edition of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’. The legendary Rob Zombie sat down with us to prove or disprove what’s written about him on Wikipedia!
This turned out to be one of our favorite all-time episodes. We dove into Rob Zombie’s entire lifespan, digging up some falsehoods along the way. We start off talking with Rob about who he wanted to emulate as a child. He also set the record straight on a chaotic event which took place at a carnival during his youth. Zombie’s family were carnival workers by trade, but due to patrons getting pissed off over rigged games, one carnival went up in flames while guns were being fired in a state of all-out anarchy.”
Watch the video above and enjoy as Rob delves into the line between fact and fiction.

Its out! And the feedback has been fantastic. Check out this review from Loudwire, who say “with Zombie’s cinematic background, it’s no surprise that the show is heavy on visuals.” And “…while those elements are interesting and highly entertaining, they are just icing on the cake. Zombie and company are the stars of the show, with great performances from guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D. and drummer Ginger Fish. Zombie is a master showman, holding the crowd in the palm of his hand.”
