About Me
I was born summer of 79, I put my biological mom through 13 hours of labor.
Both of my Biological parents thought it would be best if my grand-parent raised me, they adopted me.
This is that story......
My Grand-parents were from south-east ohio, my "pap" Owned a feed mill and my "ma" was a stay at home granny.
When I was growing up in the 80's everything from the 60's was being re-aired From The bat-man show, Munster, Addams Family, I also enjoyed, m*a*s*h*, green acres and etc.
My grand-parents also watched the HeeHaw show, Bonanza and the Grand ole opry every weenend.
The movies they would watch were from an older times, from the 30's 40' and 50' I became hooked on these older Movies first and for most. I believe I was just 6 when I saw "THEM!" it is an 1954 scifi/monster movie of gaint ants. I loved it! So my grandma asked if I wanted to see a real cool monster flick called "Frankenstein" I fell in loved, and I could not get enough with all these "classic monster movies" When I 9 is when I started to watch JAWS, the Blob, Texas Chainsaw massacre, House by the Cemetery, the Freddies, the Jasons and etc etc.
My grand parents would take me to these big auctions, and I would fill up on my Comic books, I would Have older spidermans, to newer ones, I was a comic book junkie! While most kids were out side playing football, I was either inside, watching a Marathon of a show I enjoyed, horror / Monster movies, or just reading Comic books all day, teaching myself how to draw.
Because I was raise by my grand-parents, I got into all kinds of music, From old time country, to Big Band, Classical.
I was listening stuff from Box car willie, red sovine, buck owens and the buck a-roos, to Elvis, Beatles, the rat pack and etc ect ect. In the late 80s when I was 9 or 10, I got into Alice Cooper, Kiss, Ac/dc and so on. Later I go into The Romanes, Bad religion, The mistfits and Ect.
After moving to Florida in summer of 1993, I got into heavier stuff 1994 I got into Slayer with thier Divine album, Metallica, Pantera, Korn just came out, and a few other bands.
in 1996 I found a little band that made an impact with me, White Zombie from thir 95 album Astro Creep Album every since then I have been hooked on the "Zombie world"
By Now were have been living in Venice Florida, and I love it I had a tons of monster movies, horror movies, and sci mocies on VHS, I had alot of music Albums on tape and CD, and Im drawing all the time. At this point in my life I am also playing Ice Hockey. I have dreads, and not caring about how the world around me views me (still today I dont care) My friends and I shot a short movie, one of my friends made copies of it, and they were all gone by a week, I believe we moved 20 units, and being 16 at the time I thought that was big. I was going to go to Film School in New York, but I couldnt afford the schooling, and thoiught I would just wing it like some "famous" did and make a name of my self... Without the programs, the tools, I never made it anywhere past a 8 dollar an hour job, even at 32....
At the time I was 16 I was doing art and selling it, I was going by the name James Hell Coprse It wasnt until a "fan" of mine that kept on refering me as "The Boogieman" that I thought I should change my name, for a good year I was going by J. Boogieman untill I was reading a book about Caslte Wolfenstein, and it had "boogeyman" that killed anyone who enters the buildings. So from then on, since 1998 I was known as Jay Wolfenstein Boogeyman.
In 2004 there were 4 things that really did bummed me out that whole year a Great FX artist died, my dog had to be put down, My father passed away, and Dimebag was killed on stage. I drank alot this year.
Im always trying to get my foot in the door, asking anyone if they would hire me as an Director / writer. I have wrote a few ideas, and one script The night evil Came home is a script I have on hold on page 45, and Im starting a new, which is a seems to have a good feed back on the idea.
I really want to make films I dont care if I only get paid 20 or 30K a year, its not about being rich, its all about gettng my art out there, and being able to focus 100% on my art, and not having to worry about working a 9-5 job, and having to go try to make a good movie.
All my life I never touched drugs, never smoked weed, (I do think it should be legal) but I was a heavy drinker.
Today at 32, I only drink red wine with a few dishes that would suit it.
I had to move to PA with my wife in 2009 and we are stuck here for a few more years untill maybe 2016.
I always move forward, still have my Art Of Shock company, draw paint, and going to design some cool logos for shirst. I try to write when ever I can (its hard to do anymore) and I try to pitch my movie ideas to anyone that will hear them out.
Thanks for reading,
