Halloween II [2009]

Plot Summary

The Devil’s Rejects director Rob Zombie resurrects one of the most notorious slashers in screen history with this re-imagining of the 1978 John Carpenter classic that spawned numerous sequels and countless imitators. As a child, young Michael Myers (Daeg Faerch) committed one of the most unspeakable crimes imaginable.

Subsequently locked in an asylum and placed under the care of Dr. Loomis (Malcolm McDowell), the hollow-eyed boy grew into an emotionless man determined to escape back to his hometown of Haddonfield and complete the murderous mission that he began so many years back.

These days, the long-abandoned Myers house sits decrepit and overgrown on a peaceful suburban street, its boarded windows and rotting wood a silent testament to the slaughter that has haunted Haddonfield for decades. Now Michael Myers (Tyler Mane) is back, and as the children of this typical Midwestern town fill the sidewalks for a fun-filled night of tricks and treats, Haddonfield is about to find out that there is no escape from pure evil. Brad Dourif, William Forsythe, Udo Kier, Dee Wallace, Sheri Moon Zombie, Danny Trejo, and Adrienne Barbeau co-star. Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Listen i hope that rob really reads these. I am a big fan of the Halloween series. as i am of all robs movies. most the people that talk down about his version of Halloween 1/2 are insignificant little bug eyed green back fly’s. ” you know the ones that buzz around and live off dog shit” Back to the point. I loved the depth that he went into in his version of Halloween. Like showing what Micheal childhood was like behind closed doors. That he started with killing and torching animals first. The asshole hazing, non working beat neck ,drunk step farther and of course slutty sister. Witch i have no problems with by the way. I’m not going to lie. in Halloween 2. His version. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the hospital, but other than that “loved it” Now here’s why i’m writhing this. I hope with all my heart that he doesn’t quit on us. He needs to put his stamp on the Halloween franchise for the next 30 years. we could really have an exciting ride with him a the helm. Don’t quit ROB “YOU GOT THIS” Listen iv’e been thinking for awhile about three. part three that is. The first time around they fucked it up bad…. This is what i think is your real chance to stamp your name on the Halloween series, or him my words. cut the heads off of any doubters. That your not the man two take this series into the future. Man think about it. All the directions you could go in your version of Halloween 3. :Shit son: It’s practically open season, free ranee. Myself i wouldn’t use any part of the original part three. Make it your own. I mean how cool would it be for you to fill in the cap that was left between two and four, because there was. it’s there for the taking. You are the man to do it. I’m sure you could find out how to get in touch with me. I no it’s bold, put i would love to conspire with ya a little bit and share some ideals about ways to go on three, but you and i both no that you don’t need any help in this area. Be good and keep making movies man.

I love Rob Zombie and the Halloween movies. I went to see Halloween II with my boyfriend. We held hands. I screamed a few times but I felt safe. He bought me candy, soda and popcorn. I put out after dinner. I am waiting for Halloween III. I would love to do a gay scene for Rob Zombie in Halloween III.

I understand why Rob Zombie Likes this movie so much. Im not some expert reviewer but I am a real Horror movie fan the same age probably. I Grew up as a 14,15,16 year old with all the music he uses in these movies. For me it is quite simply the absolute non relenting brutality on the screen which to me is Free from regulation. I believe the 1970s specifically 74-78 were special years that were the best ever. Total Freedom. I have this feeling Rob Zombie is very much missing these years just like I have been. His movies bring back the Horror at the Drive In. F those Hollywood losers that say anything. Im also a Hardrock and Metal Guitarist and song writer. Keep making movies.
