VRRV concept album?
Started by Unholy M Tragedy666 11 months ago

I was wondering if you could shed some light on the story behind the songs on Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.  There seems to be some elements of anger towards the mindless masses and the ignorance and stupidity of the world in songs like "Trade In Your Guns" and " Dead City Radio".  Is this presumption accurate?  How do the other songs fit in with those concepts (unless they are not supposed to)?

and, I heard interviews with you speaking about how you and the band can relate with the song "We're In An American Band", but aside from that, why this selection for a cover song in the grand scheme of things with this concept album?  Aside from relating with it, does this cover, lyrically, fit certain themes of the story you wanted to tell?

Thank you for your time, and congrats on the album!  It is truly amazing and some of your best work in my opinion.
