The project of gay Halford, John5 and some other folks. Basically, heard their "I am a Pig" in Idle Hands - checked out the album which turned out to be the one N only. Two are/were a fantastic band. I have the original mix of the album which was made available on Rob Halford's (not sure why you mentioned gay as we know he is gay but not sure what his sexuality has to do with it) website a few years ago - it's the Pre-Reznor mix of the album which is even heavier than the final album put out.
Not sure what to recommend in its place but alot of early 2000's bands - Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Rammstein certainly were in that vein.
