Personally I'm very excited about this and I'd really like to be given a shot to audition for the role of Bobby Clarke. I'm a native of Philadelphia and I know what taking on a role like this involves, but I have a good foundation for it as is given that I have played hockey for most of my life, I'm 5'10" just like Clarke was, and have blue eyes like he did. I'm also able to do the accent and voice pretty well, as I found this great interview with him either during the intermission between the 2nd and 3rd periods of the famous game against the Soviet National team, where the Flyers were able to beat the Russians badly both physically and on the scoreboard as they won by a score of 4-1. Anyway, I may not look exactly like Clarke, and I may be right handed, but I could easily learn to play left handed for this and would gladly do it too. The big thing is that it'd be such an amazing thing to cast a local in this film because if there's one thing us Flyers fans know, it's passion. I have so much passion for the game, the team, and this part, I think I'd be a great choice for the role. Either way, I'm really excited about the movie, and it should be fun seeing what happens with it going forward.
