This is an original prop used in the film Halloween 2007 as set dressing in the Strode house. It is a one-of-a-kind item of actors Dee Wallace, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Pat Skipper posing as the Strode family. The picture comes framed, but the frame is damaged due to being thrown around in the scene where Michael Myers kills Mr. and Mrs. Strode. I’m sure you all remember how Michael trashed the house in that scene.

Tis the season to be scary, so Rob Zombie shares a playlist of the ultimate Halloween themed tracks with Entertainment Weekly.
“Rob Zombie knows a thing or two about getting spooky — peep these album names from his time as White Zombie frontman as well as a solo act: Soul-Crusher, Make The Die Slowly, La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1, Hellbilly, and The Sinister Urge. (Better yet, check out their lyrics.) He’s also got various creepy movies like Halloween under his belt.
So when it came time for an EW Halloween playlist, there was no one better to turn to than the master himself.”

Rob Zombie’s solo debut album Hellbilly Deluxe: 13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International, came out 17 years ago (August 25, 1998). It debuted at number 5 in the Billboard charts, and reached Platinum status just three months later. It carried on the vein of sounds fans were familiar with from the White Zombie years, and its mix of metal and industrial sounds meant it garnered new fans as well as placated loyal fans.
Speaking to Loudwire, Zombie says; “I think people could tell I was having a good time making this music and playing around a little with this different technology and these different sounds,” he said. “As long as I’m having fun with what I’m doing then it will probably come through in the music.”
The album has sold over 3 million units and continues to be a fan favorite with tracks such as “Dragula“, “Living Dead Girl” and “Superbeast” still being played in Zombie’s live set. It also received a re-release in 2005 with new artwork, and was the basis for the successful remix album American Made Music to Strip By.

The article comes in light of the news that Zombie is to direct a movie about his comic idol Groucho Marx, based on the book by Steve Stoliar entitled “Raised Eyebrows”.
