Still wanting to see what others have to say about Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor before you go out and get your bloody little hands on a copy?  Well read this one from Uber Rock who say; “This could be tagged as Zombie’s most complete and accomplished studio endeavour yet such is the strength of the infectious, spewing riffage and hook-laden choral arrangements.”

The album is out in parts of Europe NOW and in the USA from April 23.  To read the rest of the review:

Rob Zombie – ‘Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor’
Written by Rob Watkins

The fifth solo album release from Rob Zombie goes by the rather vermin-fuelled title of ‘Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor’, then again would you expect anything less from Mr. Zombie?…..

The expectations for any Rob Zombie project are now globally anticipated and from the off this is no let down, believe me, with samples playing a big part in the overall musical equation on opening track ‘Teenage Nosferatu Pussy’, a banging, thumping tune with all the elements that you’ve come to expect from Zombie’s musical career, and that vibe, feel and groove bounds onwards magnificently into ‘Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Supertown’, the first single/video lifted off the collection and what a worthy single too with all the essential commercial elements brilliantly intact, mish-mashed with heavier-veined rocking instrumentation.

As the album progresses the highest of musical levels cross over between various genres so perfectly as reflected on ‘Revelation Revolution’ or the ’60s psychedelia of instrumental short, ‘Theme For The Rat Vendor’ and maybe, just maybe, The Twins Of Evil tour with Marilyn Manson has rubbed off ever so slightly on Mr Zombie’s musical vision on tracks such as ‘Ging Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Raga’ or ‘The Girl Who Loved The Monster’.

The electro-sampled incredible sense of ‘Rock And Roll (In A Black Hole)’ is followed by .Behold! The Pretty Filthy Creatures’ and behold I do, in volumes.

‘Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor’ is another Rob Zombie production of crystal clarity and intensive bite and drive and, of course, the musicians involved, John 5, Ginger Fish and Piggy D, please take a bow; this is as much about you guys too.

This could be tagged as Zombie’s most complete and accomplished studio endeavour yet such is the strength of the infectious, spewing riffage and hook-laden choral arrangements.

Whilst on the subject of infection and commercialism comes a cover of ‘We’re An American Band’, the Grand Funk Railroad classic and surely a hit for Zombie too if so desired; chanty as fuck stuff.

The pedal is to the metal non-stop, ‘Lucifer Rising’, for example, amongst all the beautiful heaviness and intelligence herein. The album concludes on a venomous high with another well thought out song title, ‘Trade In Your Guns For A Coffin’.

Out Of The Gutter and Into Your Head….So Venomously Infectious.
