Release date for The Lords of Salem and movie tie-in book announce (PRE-Order book)

2012 has been dominated by ONE question from Rob Zombie fans: WHEN is The Lords of Salem coming out. With filming completed, post-production wrapped up and a premiere at this year’s TIFF‘s, Anchor Bay who brought the distribution rights to the movie, have finally announced the day the film will hit theaters in the US: April 26 2013.

On top of that Rob Zombie has teamed up with multiple-award-winning horror author B.K. Evenson. to pen the official movie tie-in book for the film. To see the cover and more details including how to PRE-order

The book will be released in March 12, 2013 and promises to plunge readers into a nightmarish world where the sins of Salem are paid for in today’s blood. Zombie says “The book offers a different experience from the film since it can obviously go into much more detail. The book and the film really complement each other.”

The book will be published by Grand Central Publishing and their executive editor Ben Greenberg is excited about the release too; “As a horror junkie and a fan of Rob’s work, I am thrilled that GCP will be publishing this novel,” said Greenberg. “THE LORDS OF SALEM is Rob’s first original horror story since the great THE DEVIL’S REJECTS, and it delivers exactly what his fans have been waiting for.”
