Rob Zombie: Animals Always Need To Be Protected

“The only thing I ever really care about is animals — animal causes. I don’t really care about people that much, but animals I feel like they always need to be protected,” Zombie told Samaritanmag, while in Toronto promoting The Lords of Salem.

It’s not like the filmmaker hasn’t incorporated animal mutilation in his films. Let’s face it — the guy makes horror films. In his remake of Halloween, there is animal mutilation (fake, of course). But in The Lords of Salem, he uses the dog as an interesting device for the lead character, Heidi, played by his wife, Sheri Moon.

  3. Hey Rob, I completely agree with you being a vegetarian myself. With that being said I feel you are the number one artist leading the way even for this generation. What you do, your ethics, and talent shine like no other. Thanks man.

Good for you Rob! Animals need someone Strong and High profile to speak for them. Animal cruelty is rampid right along w/ the breeding of ignorance! I could go on and on….. But I will just say Thank You!
PS: I think it would be cool if you would say like Bob Barker did every show “Make sure to get your animals spayed and neutered!” LOL! Rob Zombie and Bob Barker!!! Funny!

I am glad to hear he helped raise money to support a no kill animal sanctuary. From what I have heard a lot of animal shelters don’t really give pets much of a chance to get adopted before they put them to sleep..My cat almost ended up in a shelter, because the assholes she used to live with didn’t like that she sometimes used the bath tub as a litter box. She was doing that because she was stressed out, there was a lot of drama in the environment she was living in. Lots of stupid people fighting all the time over stupid shit..She was around certain people who liked to abuse her, and when I got her, she had been licking off all her long fur because of stress. Well, all her fur grew back after I had her for a month, and she doesn’t take a shit in places she shouldn’t. She also doesn’t run and hide under the bed all the time like she used to when I first got her. She is a wonderful cat, and I am glad I adopted her. And, I believe animals who have been abused by their former owners deserve a fair chance of getting adopted.
