Rob Zombie’s Halloween still reigns supreme over Labor Day weekend

Rob Zombie's Halloween still holds the labor day record

They try, they really try and there have been some worthy contenders over the years, but Rob Zombie’s Halloween still reigns supreme as the highest grossing Labor Day Weekend film release, a record he has held for the past 5 years.  This year The Possession tried and got close with a $21.3 million opening over the three-day weekend (making it the second largest opening) but Halloween just can’t quite be matched ($30.5 million in 2007).

Thank you once again to everyone who went out and watched this movie .  Don’t forget to check out the movie and more info on here it here: Rob Zombie’s Halloween movie page
